Why We Built This Site
Utah record access depends on custody. The Washington County Sheriff's Office maintains reports and Purgatory booking material. Utah State Courts holds charges and dispositions. BCI administers the fingerprint-supported state repository, while corrections and the Utah Sex and Kidnap Offender Registry answer different status and safety questions. We organize the official contacts, search tools, costs, and request steps without claiming to replace any agency.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: the Washington County sheriff, local courts, BCI, and Utah corrections channels
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are searched and read
- Official self-review: how fingerprint-based Right of Access works through Utah BCI
- Record relief: where Utah expungement procedures and court forms are published
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Utah court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that an agency phone number, fee, address, or schedule has not changed
Only the issuing sheriff, court, or Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification can provide its official record. We identify the route, but the document must come from that office.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes. They control their own prices, services, and results. A paid signup reached through a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not control a partner's charge or output.
